As I sit down and try to find a way to describe what the
last month has been like, I don’t even know where to begin – honestly! I
started by trying to sort through the hundreds of pictures that we have and
deleted the ones that were just plain bad. That took me from about 200 pictures
to closer to 100 but that is still way too many to put in a blog entry so I am
going to try to do a post for each event that we had for the holiday season.
Lots of pictures and lots of memories….so let’s start with the first one.
YMCA Reindeer Run – 2012
Last year we took Chase to this kids’ event at the YMCA
(baby triplets in tow) and had a blast even though we froze our tails off. This
year I got smart and decided to take the triplets to the playhouse inside the
YMCA, gather up a group of Chase’s friends (and their parents who we are
friends with as well) and enjoy the event again.
The format was very similar to last year but you started by
making a craft before you began the passport process. Chase and Bise made
reindeer antlers – which they both wore for most of the event! And then we were
off to see Cody and the agility course. From there we met with Paula and the
reindeer sleigh event and then we were off to make our own snowmen. We played
Santa says, did some Christmas Zumba and then we finished with cookies, hot
chocolate and a picture with Santa. The kids had a blast and Jason and I both
agree that by next year, we may be brave enough to take the triplets along for
the fun. Here are some of the pictures we got from that event.

This was a great way to kick off the Christmas season with family and friends and I am sure that it will become part of our future Christmas' plans as well.
Next stop, Chase's school performance! Stayed tuned.
