Before things really settled down - or got started depending on who you are - we had the start of
basketball for Chase and lunch for Nana’s birthday. Chase started his basketball career through the YMCA with
some kids he played soccer with and boy what fun he is having. This is from the
first day where they spent most of the time working on basic skills like
dribbling and passing because most of the kids already like to shoot.
He plays at a local elementary school gym so I don’t have
access to the nursery for the triplets. Makes things interesting but there are
older sisters of some of the boys he plays with who are MORE THAN HAPPY to
entertain the triplets. Thanks girls!
Posing for Mom in my new basketball sweatshirt |
The little boys all got the same sweatshirt and mini-basketballs for Christmas so of course we had to take them with us! |
Another pose for Mom |
Anthony's turn |
Jack wanted to play with Chase so he grabbed his balls (yes, 2 of them) and followed along |
Since it was an elementary school gym, there were other things for the little boys to play with as the girls helped entertain them |
Dribble and shoot |
Waiting instructions from Coach Tim with Tyler (Tim's son) |
What you can't really see are the polyspots (rubber circles) placed on the floor to show the kids exactly where to stand....PE teachers use these ALL THE TIME at this age! |
After basketball it was so pretty that we got to go outside and play - it was wonderful for all of us! |
The next day we drove to Winston to eat lunch with Nana,
Uncle Marc, Aunt B and Milo to celebrate Nana’s birthday and exchange Christmas
gifts with Marc, Sabrina and Milo.
Playing cars with Nana while we waited for Uncle Marc and crew to arrive |
Showing off our hot dog cutters! |
Anthony enjoying his new Mickey chair |
Graham's turn to pose |
Jack resting his legs |
We love our chairs! |
Then we came home and Mom started her process of gathering
items for the big adventure!
